Hi everyone,

I went to the nurse for a blood test yesterday and due to a mix up, it's been postponed for a couple of weeks. I was being nosy and looked over her shoulder at my notes on the screen. Under FBC (Full Blood Count), it said 'Abnormal' and 'Leuco Neutropenia'. I've done some research and know that it seems to be an abnormally low level of white blood cells in the blood, which can affect your immune system, although research suggests pregnancy actually helps sufferers.

I am not worried (yet) because I haven't been told I actually have it, after all! They may just test for that kind of stuff, and I happened to have a slightly weird result on the day, hence the request for a repeat FBC.

Anyway, if anyone has any experience or knowledge of this subject, especially on how it relates to pregnancy, I'd be really interested to hear. Thanks!
