Male infertility.....

Me and my husband have been TTC for nearly 3yrs now.......with 1 m/c sept 2006 under our belts. Now going down the route of testing......did a home sperm test which was absolutely fine, but not sure if that will be adequate enough for my doctor to push me for more tests or if DH has to go to his GP and deliver a sample. My bloods all came back fine.......
my question is, with a GP sperm test, is it a case of getting a sample at home and popping it to doctors?? or will DH have to go somewhere?? Not sure how he'll feel about that one!!

At the hosp

My husband had to get a test done, I had all sorts of problems but they said there was no point in me getting checked out if he was the problem too! So anyway he was given a container to give his sample in and had to go to the hosp on a set date within so many hrs of the sample being made!! They tested it there and it took a while for the test results to come back. When they did he had a mixture of good/bad sperm so they wanted to test again. In that time I was also diagnosed with PCOS but a week later found out I was pregnant!!!

I also had a mc last July and although it was sad- it gave me hope as at least I knew I could get pg. I would go to the doc's and getting everything checked out hun, it takes forever to be referred to the assisted conception (I was due to go this June)!! So the sooner you get the ball rolling the better and you never know what could happen in the mean time! I managed to get pg naturally with all odds against me.
