Cvs test. a bit worried

Hi I'm new on here and just need a little bit advice on something.

In March 2009 we had a little baby girl who was diagnosed with Edwards syndrome and passed away 2 weeks later. I've just found out that I am pregnant again but very worried in case the same thing happens again. Me and my partner have decided on the CVS test to find out if there is anything wrong earlier on in the pregnancy so we can be prepared.

Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this test/ had a previous baby with edwards syndrome but then gone on to have a healthy baby?

A little different but still so many tears!

Hello im also new on here, im trying to conceive but already have 2 yummy children.

With my 2nd i had a nuchal scan which showed a 1 in 17 chance of downs - i cried for hours andhours but then decided to go ahead with a cvs - was a little uncomfortable but it was also great to see the baby on the screen - the waiting for results was awful but then the results come back and the baby had no chromo probs - the cons did say that because a prob was highlighted in the nuchal scan, something cardio or other rare ?? may be wrong!

he pregnancy was hell and i was worried uneccessarily because my baby boy was born perfectly healthy at 9.2oz! sometimes too much technology isnt that great x
