Hi,
Im just over 7 weeks pregnant and i have a son who's about to turn 11!
Has anyone out there had a massive gap like this between their pregnancies?!
Because it's been so long for me i was just wondering whether or not the labour will be just like having my first baby all over again!!!!

Hi, I am 24 weeks pregnant and have a son who is 12 and a daughter who is almost 17!
I have found how much things have changed since having my son, it's like having my first all over again!!
Advice is different, you can't eat this and can't do that. Just enjoy being pregnant, no-one can tell you how your labour is going to go, everyone is different.
Good luck!

Hello there - hav only just discovered this website - I am just turned 41, and am 17 weeks pregnant with a very unexpected & unplanned 3rd child!!! My other 2 are 12 & 13 and are very very excited! Myself and my husband are really happy - now that we have got over the shock ! But, like you, I'm a bit worried about the labour as its such a long time ago !!! How are you feeling?

HI,

I have just found out that I am pregnant again - about 6 weeks at the age of 38.
My daughter will turn 16 in May, off to college and here I am starting again!
I hope to have a slightly shorter labour this time.

Wow! Congratulations!
Know what you mean about the shorter labour, im not sure i could go through my 33 hours again! Guess i'd have to though!!!!
What does your daughter think of your news?
Hope all goes well for you.

there is an 8 year gap between my two girls.
"Dont worry"
Posted by jelea2303 31 January  at  17:57

so, when i was 19 years old i gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. one month later my mother calls me to tell me she is pregnant! so i now have a brother who is 8 mos younger than my daughter. although he's more like a nephew to me than a brother, i dont think the age difference is that big of a deal. as far as the labor goes, my mom said the older she was the harder the pregnancy was, her labor was about 13-14 hrs. good luck!!
"Oh my god !!!"
Posted by summerlee1 1 February  at  17:23

My first labour was 33 hours so i hope it doesnt get harder for me!!!!
"No worries"

im sure you will remember everything , good luck.
