Drinking whilst pregnant?

Hey everyone

I'm very tempted with a glass of red wine with my dinner tonight but something keeps telling me not to. Guilt?

Does anyone else have the odd tipple whilst pregnant?

am sorry but u need to stop drinking so if u kno u will drink then dont get pregnant or dont have it wid ur partner

Drinking when pregnant

Hello All

I have just found out im 6 months pregnant but am worried because I have been drinking quite alot every weekend with my partner and friends as we meet up every friday and saturday.

Can any one put my mind at rest if they have been in the same situation.
I have stopped drinking now but am worried I may have already cause damage

i really wouldnt worry too much! i bought a very reliable book by a top gynae and it said that the odd glass of wine really would not hurt! in europe they recommend it! dont beat urself up pregnancy is meant to be enjoyed but just have the one!

Thanks Fluffyheels. We lived in SW France for yrs, wine to me is like water. I do know not to abuse it, especially now I'm pregnant.
I totally agree when you say pregnancy is to be enjoyed.
I will only have the 1.
