Cord blood
Hi,I have decided not to get the blood collected as it is a very new procedure and our hospitals are not geared up for it. those first few minutes after birth are vital that the doctors and nurses are paying attention to you and your baby and not fiddling around tring to get blood. If you were having it in America I would say go for it as they are much more experienced, however as it is new in this country I am not prepared to risk my babies life at this stage for something that they may never need.
