I've got a scan on Tuesday and I'll be 16 + 5 weeks was wondering if they would be able to tell the sex of my little one so early.

Congrats by the way!

When I was 16 weeks I had my 1st scan (yes! should have been done at 12 weeks but I never got an appointment until 16weeks) and my partner and I were eager to find out the sex. Not sure if it were too early or not, I simply asked the question, and before I knew it we were told we were having a little girl!
It was so exciting to know. We chose a name straight away and out little girl is now 17 months old. We are also expecting our second in April and I cant wait for my 12-16 wk scan to find out the sex!
I think they can find out at 12 weeks??? Not 100%
