ok i decided i didnt want to wait 2 weeks to see another doctor who wouldnt do anything so yesterday mornin i made an emergency appointment with a different midwife than the one i saw at 9weeks, after 15mins of being in with her she had the hospital on the phone and had made me an appointment! im so happy! 3rd of september i get my scan! cant wait im so excited

hi im 15 weeks pregnant and i still havnt had my first scan, iv been to my doctor twice and been into the hospital and rang the hospital but they wont tell me anything. im worried, i know im due blood tests around this time and im worried about my baby...what should i do?

i had my first scan at almost 19 weeks, but think that was because i only found out at 18 weeks i was pregnant, but i thought your ment get one around 12 weeks then 20 weeks.

i had my first scan on monday and it was so unreal...wen i saw the baby on the screen it was just so amazin, and i was able to find out the sex im havin a baby girl. im so excited

i found out at my 20wk scan that i am having a girl! are you having another scan at 20wks? good luck with your pregnancy.

I cannot believe that you have got to this stage and not had one scan. It would seem to me that the referal the midwife does at your first appointment as either not been done or that it has been lost.

I would also watch that they do not try getting away with only giving you one scan, as you would normally have a dating scan 8-12 weeks and then another about 20 weeks. As you will be 17 weeks by then I would make sure they book you in there and then for another scan later on. I would also complain when you go for the scan and tell them that you feel it has caused u unnecessary stress.

Are you feeling ok in your pregnancy.

hey hun really u shud of had your first scan at 8 weeks then another around 12 weeks and then another around 20 weeks im shocked that u havent had any i wud go to your doctors and ask to speak to one of the midwives there and they shud be able to advise u ! and i wud make a serious complaint about the way u have been treated.all the best shell

well iv just got off the phone with the doctors and i can only get an appointment for in 2 weeks (typical). iv been to see 3 different doctors so far about this and none of them seem to be doing anythin about it. hopefully will get this sorted soon. will let u know how things go

im not havin my dating scan till 16 weeks its only 6 weeks away but seems foreva.
