its up to you weither you have your hubby in the room she will go through your medical background and fill in any babys and mscge and then shell go through what will happen and when and sort out your 12 week scan, they usually want a wee sample so take one with you it saves walking through the waiting room carrying pee, she will want a bllod sample to check your hcg level and blood group check for anti bodies and for HIV if you allow them its quite painless and youll be in there with her for 30-45 mins.
good luck

for that. It starting to get real for me, i feel my body wont let me think i am having another baby after the mc but getting this stage is starting to make it real (even though i have already had a scan.)
Hoepfully she will let nick in, my pratice doesnt do half the things that everyone elses does. I went to see one doc about pains in tummy and was told if i mc again then i have plenty of time to have another. they shouldnt say that. when i went about first mc, i wasnt even offered a scan, my sis in law went to her's with the same as me and she got one, i have a really bad practice, so here's hoping the midwife is a good one. Thanks

they dont sound very helpfull, is it worth swapping doctors? i know exactly what your going through its a hard time for us and no one seems to care about the mscgs anymore. i did have one doctor that was the same as yours and she was like if it happens theres nothing i can do so go home and stop bothering us kinda attitude. i think it does depend on the doctor.
good luck
