I had a missed miscarriage three weeks ago, i had a D&C and have been trying again straight away although i havent had my period. I have a tilted womb which i heard makes it harder to conceive and more likely to miscarry. How long did it take you to get pregnant after miscarrying? When will i start ovulating after D&C on the 19th August?

Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. My second miscarriage ended on the 9th July 07 I didnt have a D&C but I ovulated the following week on the 16th July, and my period came 30th July. I didnt catch but I'm about to ovulate again. I was so surprised to go back to normal so soon. My last miscarriage was last August, it was a lot harder and I ended up in hospital, again it all happened without needed any help but it took over 6 weeks from when the bleeding finally stopped to get my period.

I've been told it generally easier to get back to normal after a D&C but of course, everyones different. Hopefully you'll regulate really soon.

Lots and lots of luck. x

i followed your story on the expecting a baby forum. i feel so sorry for you i no how it feels. i had a misscarriage in may 2005. i had no 1 to talk to and i bottled everything up. it took me 2years (to the date of the miscarriage) to concieve again. i no lots of people tho who have concieved straight away. i didnt wait the 3months your supposed to either. i have been told by many people and doctors that your get caught on straight away after a m/c. good luck and enjoy trying. try not to stress about it i no its hard. i forgot bout it in the end cos i thought it would never happen and it did. how long did you try last time? stacey n 19wk bump x x
