"16 weeks pregnant after mc"
Posted by daiseyinfl79 4 October  at  04:07

Hi there. Just wanted to let ya know to hang in there. I mc back in Oct 2006 at 9 1/2 weeks. I am now 16 weeks pregnant. I had a scare at about 8 weeks when i started to spot for about a week,I thought I was mc again, but it went away and everything seems ok. I was really paranoid up until 3 months, thinking the same thing would happen, but so far so good. I still worry that something may go wrong down the line, but I take it one day at a time. The Dr told me, just because you miscarry once DOESNT mean you are more likely to have it happen again. So I wish you the best of luck! Try not to worry, which I know is almost impossible!

hi i know how you are feeling i had a missed miscarriage in july 2006 it was not the nicest of things and i feel for anyone who went through the same thing. I waited until october 2006 and after loads of discussions with my husband we decided to try again, in march 2007 we found out i was expecting again but at 5 wks i began to bleed again, we thought it was happening again but the lady at the epac clinic helped us both alot.
my bleeding then carried on til i was 13 wks. im now almost 30 wks pregnant
i think if you have been through a miscarriage its always at the back of your mind is everything ok even now i worry if i havent felt a kick for an hour or so its natural I know its easy to say and not easy to do but try to relax and enjoy it and each wk that passes is a step closer
take care n good luck

"Don't worry"
Posted by angelbabyx 19 September  at  13:16

Hey Lisa. I know that its got to be hard at the moment to not worry about things going wrong again, but there are plenty of people that go on to have a sucessful pregnancy after a miscarriage. Not me personally. This was my first pregnancy. I've only recently found out that I've lost my baby and am planning on trying for another one asap, and I'm sure I'll be just as scared as you when the time comes, but I know 3 people, including my mum, that have had sucessful pregnancys straight after a miscarriage. You can only try to stay positive and assume that everything is going to be fine, which it probably will be.
Good luck x x

i dont really belong on this forum. i had a m/c in may 05. it tooks us exactly 2years to concieve again. i am now 24+5wks and so far everything ok. only scare i had was cramping again at the begining but it calmed down after about week 8. i have been told that after a m/c your body is more prepared to carry a baby full term. try not to worry, (i no its hard) and take it easy. worrying will only make things worse.

g'luck and take care. private message me any time.
