Hi all. I am 34 years old and about six weeks pregnant. My husband and I have a ten year old son. I got pregnant a second time six years ago, but that resulted in a miscarriage at around six or seven weeks. I found out two weeks ago that I am pregnant! I thought I couldn't have anymore. I want to be excited (like my husband who wants to tell the world!) but I just can't be. I am scared that I will lose this one too. I knew I was pregnant because my stomach felt weird, smells were really strong to me that no one else noticed, and my boobs were sore. Now it seems that my breasts aren't hurting anymore and I'm worried. I don't know if they really aren't or if I'm imagining that will all the worry. Or, is it normal? I can't really remember with my son, it's been so long. I feel like my clock is ticking. If I lose this one and it takes another six years, I'll be 40!!!!!!! Well, I'm supposed to go back to my ob on Thursday for an ultrasound and some more blood work. Just don't know if my sanity can hold til then. Any advice or encouragment out there?

Well, I went to my ob's office yesterday and had some blood work done to check my hormone levels. They have risen slightly. I didn't get to talk to the dr. as he was out of the office yesterday. Hoping he will call today and let me know if the levels are good or not. My lower back has been a little achy for the past three or four days and last night before bed I noticed a small amount of brownish discharge. My bbs aren't sore at all! So, I'm pretty much thinking it's coming just not sure when.
Thank you both for your kind words and positive thoughts.
