I had a complete m/c on the 3rd sep and the bleeding only lasted 4 days. Its now been 4 weeks today since then and im patiently waiting for my period to arrive. How long does it take? I have mixed feelings about it as i would love to be pregnant again but dont want to get my hopes up.

Thanks x

It can take between four to six weeks for periods to return.
If you don't mind me asking how far on were you when you m/c? Also how long were your cycles before? Were you regular?

I had a complete m/c on Aug 4th at 5 wks.Like the other poster I conceived staright away.I have had a regular 28 day cycle and slipped straight back into it and am now 8wks pregnant.

Fingers crossed for you x

Hey, I had a mc on the 9th of aug. I only had the bleeding for 4 days too. Like you i was waiting for my period, on the 10th of september i took a pregnancy test which came up bfp. Went to doc and said i must have conviced just after mc as the seal (cant remeber thereal name), would still b open, so if you have had sex, you could be pregnant again. It is common to get pregnant straight after mc, so if i was you i would take a pregnancy test, just to make sure.
