try not to worry a bit of brown discharge isn't a problem, its only if its fresh blood you should worry. I have had a lot of cramps, loads of symptoms one day, then they disappear for a while and then come back again - its just the pregnancy rollercoaster.

You must try and relax, hopefully your doc will put your mind at ease or send you for an early scan but from what you say I reckon you have nothing to worry about

I am 6 weeks today and twice today I have been to the toilet and had brown spotting. I have some slight cramps and suddenly my breasts don't feel sore anymore and the sickness and tiredness has gone. I am going to my doc tonight but I can't stop crying. I so much want this baby and I am so scared of loosing it. Has anyone else felt like this or had these symptoms?? x

Thanks for that, you have made me realx a little but the internet says so many things and you just don't know what to think. It's horrible though and it does worry the hell out of me.

I too have been having this problem. I was wondering what has happened since you last posted. Is everything ok? x x

I have scared myself stupid with the internet - it can be a brilliant useful source of info but it can also be your own worst enemy.

I told the nurse when I had my last scan I had been doing some "research" on the web and she told me that she would ban the internet for expectant mothers if she could - she said all it does is give you women even more to worry about.

As my OH says a little information can be very dangerous.

so as tempting as it as (and I wish I could follow my own advice here) take what you read on the web with a pinch of salt - even on medical sites opinions seem to vary greatly so stick with your GP and midwife and you shouldn't go too far wrong

good luck

xx

I've had 3 m/c's and your symptoms don't sound too worrying to me. Jules is right brown discharge is far less likely to be anything serious than fresh red blood so try not to panic just yet. Having said all that if you're worried about anything don't be shy about seeking medical advice, it's what docs are there (and we pay taxes) for and it's always better to be on the safe side. Let us know how you're getting on, sending you big hugs and all the luck in the world. Take care,

lotsa love,
Clare xxx
