Dont listen to folk who will go oh thats too soon to try again, i got that alot, but remeber that theres only 2 folk who know when they feel ready to and thats you and your lad. Everyone else doesnt know the pain you and your lad are going though so dont listen. WHEN you do fall pregnant dont worry about it happening again, you have got still have a one in four chance of miscarring like everyone else who havent been through it. So if you do decide to try again before feb and did fall pregnant i would just try and relax about it and enjoy what could be your last hoilday before a baby coming along. Remember we like positive thinking. God i wish i knew friends like yours that would be great to go to mexico for a wedding all mine, just have weddings in boring aberdeen.
My pregnancy is going fine, 16 weeks at the weekend so seems like ages ago i had the mc, but its only about 18 weeks. I am getting a bump now and my boobs are masive so much so i had to phone work last night to ask if i could wear one of my tops instead of my tunic, they just started laughing, luckily they let me off with it now.

My name is Rachael. I miscarried on Monday at 10&4 and have been bleeding ever since. Had an emergency scan on sunday night and the guy said the baby was small, had no heartbeat and there were irregularities with the sac. Went to GP on Tues and today went for scan where the lady said everything is back to normal so don't need D&C. Does anyone know what this bleeding is now then? Is it the end of my miscarriage or is it a period? I still have cramps low down. It's all so horrible and confusing and was a nightmare as I was away in Cornwall for the weekend (am from near Manchester) and miscarried in motorway services toilets on way home cos I was too stubborn to go to a local hospital. Just wanted so badly to be at home!

I dropped you a message in the expecting forum but I read this here and had to answer.

I'm so sorry how this happened to you, our bodies are so cruel sometimes. I've had 2 mc myself in just over 1 year. The first was at 8 weeks and although everything came away I bled and had cramps for over 2 weeks. On the second I was at 5 weeks and I started bleeding on the friday and stopped bleeding on the monday. I really think that it depends on how far gone you are at the time. Although the hospital have said the baby has gone there will still be lining and other tissue that your body needs to expell.

If you do have any worries please see your GP.

that, I had bleeding for four days after a natural miscarriage which sounds like you had. Alot of us on here was told you restart your period between 4-6 weeks, if you dont become pregnant again. I know how you feel you just wanted to be in your own home with your own things around you, its not nice being in a hopsital never mind a hospital miles away from home, take care pm me anytime

Lisa, you are so great at answering people's messages. I'm so tempted to start trying again when this bleeding and stomach aches stops but also we have just booked flights to Mexico end Feb/beg March for our friend's wedding and am worried that if i fall pregnant again then being so far away at a crucial time could be risky and I'm scared of it happening again. Oh well, I just need to take some time out, it's early days and I'm not my usual self yet. Thanks for the reply, how is your pregnancy going?
