hi there dont know if anyone can shed any light on my problem basically i had an evcuaton on the 30th and got a phone call today to ask me to go back as tests they have done cannot confirm thant what they call product of conception is all there so ethier some came away before or i have some left whats worrying is my hubby and i have had unprotected sex what happens if i had fallen pregnant and they do scan and see something which they think is old but could be new if that makes any sense can anyone help please vikki

...have you had the scan yet? I'm sure they would be able to tell if there was new pregnancy or not and if you tell them they will know what to look out for. If you've had it hope all is ok, if not just be honest, you haven't done anything wrong and I think they're being really good for double checking altho i'm sure if something was still left you'd still be bleeding or be showing signs of infection by now. I think you should just be honest with the hospital and tell them you have unprotected sex that way they can be sure what they are checking for. Did you have alot of bleeding before the evacuation? This is my second m/c and the first happened naturally and was very painful and bleed alot for ages. The second had the d and c and only bleed a bit afterwards on and of for about 2 weeks. But not as heavy as first time.
Sorry not much help but would just say tell them the truth then they can look for what could be new pregnancy.
