Hi Linzi,

I found out I was 12 weeks pregnant with identical twins on 25th January during a routine scan. Went to Kings College last thursday for a check up that showed both twins had died. I was 16 weeks. I had to have a tablet to induce labour and gave birth on sunday to two boys. I saw one of them but not the other. I lost so much blood that ended up in theatre needing an erpc.

I totally understand your feelings of how to deal with it. The only advice I can possibly offer is how I am consoling myself that it was just not meant to be. As awful as it is, I can honestly say it is the most horrendous experience. However I feel it is better to have to go through it now than further along the pregnancy when you have become even more attached to your baby / babies. I am just trying to be strong and look to the future.

All I can say is that I do understand.

Hope things work out for you in the future.

Take care of yourself.

Jenny

Linzi, so sorry to hear of your loss huni. I had m/c end of Dec 07. I still have the occasional low day, but believe me it does get easier to cope with. Just take one day at a time and take plenty of time to recover, mentally not just physically. The mistake i made was returning back to work too soon.

The ladies on this forum have been a tower of strength (don't know what i'd do without them). We're all here for you if you ever want to chat or rant and rave.

PM me anytime.

Thinking of you
Big hugs and lots of love
