Well it looks as if the bfp I got on Mothers Day was not meant to be.

I started bledding alittle on Tuesday evening and for the first couple of hours on Wednesday morning I was in agony! I saw the gp who sent me through to gynae at the hospital as he felt it may have been ectopic but because I wa only 4/5 weeks he knew they couldn't scan.

Anyway the urine test that ran at the hospital was negative and we are still waiting for the bloods. I bled abit on Wednesday but nothing yesterday or today just a mucky discharge when I wipe.Did a digi test this morning though and it was negative.

I see the gp again on Tuesday but it seems strange as everything you read about chemicla pregnancies says the bleeding is heavy....I haven't even had what I would call a normal period!

This was the 3rd pregnancy I have lost since Aug07 so am hoping they will run some tests now.

Love Nicki x

last year i also had 2 chemical pregnacys/mcs i lost both at exactly a week after my period was due so i would of been around 5 weeks

the docs explained to me that they are really common and if it wasnt for sensetive preg tests we wouldnt even had known we were pg we would of just classed it as a late period altho he explained all that to me it never really made me feel any better i still felt the huge loss!

well he also said keep trying as he didnt feel there was anything major wrong an im now 23wks pg with a healthy litle girl so i would say to you keep trying hun you will get there in the end dont loose hope!

also they can give you things like baby asprin with recurrant m/c ask gp bout all the options.

Dont give up hope!! I miscarriaged awfully in 1999 passing a 9 week old fetus. In 2006, I had a chemical pregnancy which was similar (for me) to just a heavy period. In Janauary 2007, I had a blighted ovum. Thats were the doctors started doing tests and stuff and then in November 07 told me I would probably not have children without intervention (IVF)

I went to my doctor on the 02nd Jan to fill out medical insurance documents and give blood for the hospital - imagine my shock when I got the call to say I was 7 weeks pregnant! Thinking I would most likely loose this one too I was paranoid for the next 6 weeks! I am now 15+3 and so far so good!

Sorry for the long post but wanted to say it will happen for you Nicki!

I am soory for your loss.
I have just had my 3rd m/c this week.
I had some tests done this week both me and hubby so fingers crossed they will do the same for you.
I feel for you as I no how hard it is.
I sometimes think I hope they find something just so I have a reason why this keeps happening and other times I think I hope everything is clear so there is no reason it happens again. I had some tests done after my 2 m/c and all were fine so doctors just keep saying its bad luck which is really starting to get on my nerves as how much bad luck can I possible have.
Well take care and keep chatting. Here if you need a chat anytime.
Vic xx
