A chemical pregnancy. I had one last week. My last period was Feb 3rd and normal. Then last Sunday as I am always regular and was due on the Saturday I did a hpt and it came back positive..not one but two! Then on the Tuesday night I started spotting,the Wednesday I had awful cramps and abit of bleeding but got sent through to gynae as they thought it could be ectopic.There they did a test and it was negative.

They told me it was a chemical pregnancy and that I would have a heavier period....I haven't bled since the luchtime last Wednesday.

The only thing you can do is wait a few days and test again.As Vic says use the first wee of the day.

Ok, Don't think I'm crazy please, but I had a miscarriage at 11w1d about a year ago, so I know what a misscarraige is like, this is what is going on with me now. Ok, my last period started on Feb. 3 it was normal and lasted as long as they usually do, Two or three days later, I was spotting when I wiped...nothing heavy...I thought that that was odd so I took a pregnancy test...yes after I just had my period, so I figured it would be negative...ends up it came out positive, I took another one later on and it said negative...It is time for my period to be here and I am now a week late or more and still negative pregnancy tests. I've had bloating and sore breasts...I just don't feel like my period is coming around...I don't feel stressed and I've never taken birth control... When I was pregnant with my first one a year ago, I had a positive after a week being late and I just knew I was pregnant. Could there be the slightest chance I'm pregnant, some people think I may have had a chemical pregnancy, yet there hasn't been bleeding. I don't want to look or sound crazy if I go to the doctor. What should I do? What is going on? Any advice? I would greatly appreciate it.

Sounds like yuo could be - I mean I am certainly no expert but the signs are there.
Maybe you should make an urgent appointment at your doc's and see what they say they might just send you for a scan just to check. If you had one positive then thats all it takes but strange that the others were negative. Maybe wait a few days before testing again and test with first wee of the day as usually stronger.
