I totally know where your coming from. There were two junkies i saw every day total alchos who were on who knows what living under a bridge literally one time i see her with a big swollen tummy still looking whacked out on something next thing i see is this chubby new baby. Last time I saw her pregnant again. It makes me so angry and annoyed to think there was me taking pre pregnancy vitamins and religously taking my folic acid when she was probably shooting up and theres her with her new baby and heres me with an empty stomach.Its grossly unfair i was like you i didnt touch alchohol stopped drinking caffeine and coca cola just in case even my OH was on my case if i had somethng 'forbidden'!We go out to the pub and see this girl looking about 9 months downing pints and chain smoking. Even my own aunty I love her and all but shes a drinker and heavy smoker and with both her pregnancies she couldnt stop but shes got 2 healthy kids.
It makes me determined to have a baby but in one way even tho it makes my blood boil and my heart break it cheers me to think it really is nothing you do everyone feels guilty a little like was it cos i ate this or went here but as this shows if its meant to be its meant to be. If a baby can be bombarded with heavy drugs and survive then theres hope right? So I wont get down Ill just try again and be positive like you say. My time to be a mum will come

well ive been quite posotive since my m/c 2 wks ago,but i new this little smack head was pregnant(a girl who we no) and when i went the hosie for my final scan to make sure everything has come away we saw her.
anyway i just been told she had her baby 4llb 10oz....
im so hurt and i dont nowhy,i dont smoke and i like a drink but not 1 drink of alcohol went past my lips not 1.i didnt even smell it.she smokes smack all the way throu her pregnancy and keeps her baby its so unfair.im feeling quite down well more angry in fact,but i tell you what girls its making mer more determined to have a baby.im not drinking after this wkend

this happens to me all the time, i work with teenagers with mental health problems and a lot of my lads seem to get random girls pg after one night stands and I have to advise them etc some wanting abortions etc its cr*p and sooo hard to be smily professional when i am screaming "why not me inside" go with that determination girl xx

This girl who lives near me has been seeing her boyfriend for 4 months she is a total scally and takes coke and drinkes and smokes. I saw her the other day smoking and she told me she was 14 weeks pregnant. I could not believe it. I then saw her in a pub with a glass of wine. I am the same I don't smoke or take drugs and I didn't touch a drop of alcohol whilst I was pregnant all 3 times. It totally pees me of.
Well rant over sorry for not making you feel batter but I no how you feel. We have to stay strong and positive and our day will come.

can totally understand how you feel, we do everything we can to ensure healthy pregnancies and you're right it isn't fair that she has her baby and we lost ours, I'm not surprised you feel hurt and angry and don't blame you one bit. Wish I had some words of wisdom to make you feel better but there's no way to make this seem right to either of us, sorry to sound judgmental but people like her don't deserve to have kids, I just wish life was more fair sometimes. Know what you mean about it making you more determined though and think that's about the only way to take something positive from this horribly unjust situation, you deserve to be a mom and I know you'll make a brilliant one, you just have to keep trying and not give up. I'm 7 weeks today and hoping and praying I will be living proof that you can get there and that sometimes life does redress the balance.
