hi guys just to let you all I had my D&C and it went great. I had not bad effects from the anesthetic and now it is all over the healing can began mental and physically.
I recommend that anyone going in for surgery should invest in some arnica tablets. I took them a day before my surgery and the day of my surgery and they really helped my mental state. I also think they helped with the effects of the anesthetic and pain treatment.
Also just for general mental well being and pain you should try arnica.
Good luck to anyone who is going through and bad times during or after a miscarriage. x

Just wanted to wish you the very best of luck for the next few wks/months. I'm still a little bitter towards people who don't seem to appreciate pregnancy and babies but getting there. My D&C went well too (despite having a bicornuate uterus) and I didn't bleed much after or have much pain - it was more mental than physcial at the time. However, my first period arrived nearly 11 wks after the D&C and it was the most awful pain in the world (almost as bad as labour!). They said I could wear tampax as normal on my first period but it actually made it more painful, like my body was trying to give birth to the tampon! Sorry, I know tmi! Anyway, just wanted to warn you that it may be REALLY painful or it might be like normal ones.
Good luck and best wishes for the future. Bea

hi thanks to you both. Try not to be bitter towards people. It won't help with the healing.
Take care
