Hiya Ladies,
has you may already know ive had a miscarriage & the hospital treat me very badly & left the baby inside me for over 3 weeks! 7 days after my m/c I still has a positive pregnancy test so they FINALLY scanned me, they said my uterus was closed, no remains & the lining looked healthy. My doctor had me on a course of antibiotics & im still getting a funny coloured discharge, has anyone else still had this after treatment for an infection? I think I might need a second course of antibiotics. Any advice or experience of infections would be appreciated.

Hellen xXx

P.S I made my formal complaint about the hospital & I got a call within 24 hours, they had asked for reports from Head of Gynea & the doctor in charge of my 'care' in A&E. They're sending someone out to see me & im determined to make this complaint go has far has possible because ladies should NOT be treated like this, they told me themselves they see 3 miscarriages a day so if 1 in this is treat like this it is NOT acceptable! Wish me luck

good on you for standing up for yourself and for many others. I work in the NHS and it's embarrassing when i hear of people being treated badly.

My infection cleared up with my double dose of antibiotics (metronidazole and co-amoxiclav(i think)) and after that i think the d/c stopped. Perhaps you should mention it to your GP just in case.

Hope it gets sorted, keep in touch, let us know how you get on x

can't help much with the infection side of things as I've never been through it but I would definitely get it checked out, makes me so angry that you wouldn't be going through any of this if they'd given you proper treatment in the first place. Just wanted to say how glad I am that you're pursuing the complaint, must be the last thing you feel like dealing with right now and shows how strong you are to be making sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Good on you and I'm behind you every step of the way, it's people like you who make a difference in this world.

Lotsa love,
Clare xxx
