this happened to me, hadn't had a period after my 2nd m/c and had had unprotected sex a couple of times so did a test and it was positive. Didn't realise it could still be leftover hormone from the m/c as it was several weeks later and didn't know that could happen so thought I'd fallen again straight away. Then AF turned up a couple of days later and when I spoke to my GP he explained that hcg levels can take a while to fall. The hospital did tell me there was a small amount of tissue left in my womb when they scanned me after the m/c and this probably played a part in keeping my levels up for longer but it does just take a while to drop with some people. Some of the girls on here have found it useful to test once a week after m/c before having unprotected sex til they get a negative result, just to be sure they know what's happening, might be worth doing just for peace of mind. Hope that helps and you're doing ok, take care.
