Thanks for your response. This is all new to me as I have always been carefull not to get pregnant. But the shock of not knowing what happend has got myself and my boyfriend thinking and we are going to sit down and have a talk about trying for a baby.

It's just tearing me up knowing that everyone I have spoken to that have had miscarriages and/ or healthy pregnancies and even those with troublesome periods are saying it sounds like I need to get checked out so I will be seeing my doctor asap.

Thanks again xxx

Whole thread for the following message:

Thread started by:
"Have i misscarried?"
Posted by avakat 30 April  at  00:55

I have had some slight symptoms of pregnancy, but didn't do a test as I have been using contraception. However I have since had 2-3 weeks of unusual bleeding, abdominal pains on the lower left (I have pcos but this pain is much lower) the pain would feel as if it was spreading when it intensified.

The bleeding is unusual and not at all what I would normally see from a period. Some days it's heavy and some days it's not as bad but the blood is changing to bright red to a browny colour but again I've not seen blood like it before from a period. there have been fewer clots than I would normally have (I have a blood defect and there are usually a lot of clots) and a light red oval clot thing that didn't look right, it was about the size of the end digit of my thumb.

Yesterday I did two tests which both came up with a slight blue mark on the positive line which then faded, but the test I did today showed nothing (but I did this one in poorer light conditions) so I am unsure of what this means.

I have listed most of the symptoms and I hope someone can help me.

Thanks,

katie x

I also forgot to mention that for about a week leading up to and another week and a half during the bleeding I would have dizzy spells where I would almost collapse if I was standing or feel like I was falling if I was sitting or laying down.

Hi, i understand how concerned you must be, but from what you are describing i think you have to go and see your doctor. if one day your pregnancy test is not confirming or disabling the fact you are preganant and the next day it is negative, a doctor will be able to examine you and tell you exactly what is going on. I cant eactly say what is going on and wouldn't like to get your hopes up or down, but you're obviously extremely concerned and its not health for you toworry so much! get a doctors opinion and let me no what happens x x x
