Pregnant after miscarriage
Hi I am in exactly the same boat I had a misscarriage about 7 weeks ago and there were no signs I had to have a dnc . And have just found out I am now pregnant again, which is fab but am so nervous.
Is there anyone out there with some good advice?

hi i had a misscarriage on th 6th of last mth and have just found out i am prenant again and i didnt have a period m doctor has told me to take thing really easy and try not to have sex til after my 12 week scan i hope everything goes wel for you x dont worry to much cause thats not good for you our the baby

Confused!!

i went to the docs on wednesday for a blood test, told him i was 10 days late dne 4 PT all came back negative, so he done a blood test, still havent had the results back yet, but also the same day i went to the docs i had a brownish red discharge, told him this and he said we would fast track the results, i have now got heavy bleeding had sever cramps and noticed big blood clots which i have never had before. I'm worried that i have been pregnant and lost it without knowin i was in the first place. I was going to spk to a duty doc on today but i didn't know if i would just be wasting there time. Im just so confused and wonder if anyone could help?

hi, i had some spotting the midwife said thats really common, but it didnt seem normal to me, i whent for my 12 week scan and they said i'd had whats called a silent misscarriage, there was nothing there, so it must have happend about the 7 week mark, i thought i would have had more bleeding than i did. that was 34 days ago iv not had any other bleeding no period, So yesterday i done a P,T and it says i am 1-2 weeks pregant, can this be? or is it just hormones still from the misscarriage? confused or wot !!!

Miscarried last week
Hi,
I have been thinking the same thing. I miscarried at 7 weeks. We had been trying for2 years.
My doctor says I should wait until I have a period before trying again but I have read that you are more fertile after a miscarriage so I am desperate to try again quickly.
Weds I have my scan booked. Have sort of resolved in my head that once I get past that I will try again-what do people think?

Miscarried and now pregnant
Hi
I miscarried in May at about 8 weeks but did not know until 10 weeks, found the whole experience the most physical and emotional thing I have ever gone through and decided I could not face it again, but everyone is different so it is how you feel.
I am now 6 1/2 weeks preganant again but I am feeling very different to last time, I am not excited because I am thinking it will happen again, also I do not have the physical signs the same as last time - no sore boobs, which the last 2 times I have had (miscarried twice). Really not sure what to think at the moment.

Your not alone
I'm six weeks pregnant after I miscaried a few months ago at the 12 week point. We've been trying for years and we were so excited. This time i'm too scared to be excited and I feel realy sad and guilty that I cant seem to stop worring its all going to end the same way. I too don't have the same signs as last time. I guess the big problem is there's nothing we can do but wait and hope.

Miscarriage
Hi, hope it went well for you 2nd time around. I miscarried last week and feel devastated. I've been told not to have sex until the bleeding stops. I have also been told that fertility is high after miscarriage - hope this is true. I also have a thyroid problem and am on thyroine, keep wondering if i'll ever get pregnant again as we seemed to try forever.

I had a natural mc 7 weeks ago. took a test four weeks later to check hcg levels and it was negative. Not had a proper period since mc but have had some brown spotting. However did take pt and it came back a very faint positive. Not sure if im really pregnant. dont have the sore boobs or anything. Now im really confused and it doesent help that am spotting(tho its not red blood) as it just reminds me of the mc. Think im going to book appointment at dcts for blood test.
I know when your desperate for a baby you want to start asap but it may be best to wait for 1st period as at least then you know where you are. Im so confused. Any advice would be great. Good luck to everyone.

im also pregnant they said i had a miscarrage 2 march and im now pregnant at the end of march i do get scared to sometimes we just have to stay strong i never had a period to good luck on this one i think this time we will be just fine x

Pregnant after miscarriage
Hi,
I'm pregnant (7wks 2days) and had a miscarriage in January. I haven't had a period since my miscarriage which I had at 6 wks. I've had 2 miscarriages now and both happened at the 6 wk point so I am wary that things could still go wrong. I had a healthy baby boy inbetween the miscarriages (he's now almost 18 months). I've looked on many forums like this and there are lots of people that get pregnant straight after a miscarriage - no period inbetween - and they go on to have successful pregnancies. I just wanted to write on this page so that people know that you can go on to have a healthy pregnancy following a miscarriage. Good luck everybody!!

Pregnant after miscarriage??
Hi,
I miscarried in Feb and had my D & C on the 6th ( at 9 weeks but the baby only grew to 8 wks.) I still haven't gotten my period to date and I just took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I dont know if this is still from my last pregnancy or fI ell pregnant again.
I've heard a lot of woman say they've had healthy babies right after a miscarriage that didn't wait for their first period.
How long should i wait to test again or ask my doctor about it? She never tested my levels after the D &C either so I really don't know what to think.

So if I read your dates right - it's 5 weeks since D&C.
it's possible it could be hcg from m/c or could be a new BFP.
Maybe give it another week and then test. If that comes up positive then see your GP. They can take a blood test to see if hcg is rising and/or scan and check to see if this is a new pg.
Fingers crossed it's a new BFP.

So I couldnt wait a whole week and I tested last night it was still +. I called my GP and she told me to come in for blood work because I shouldn't be getting a positive beta after 5 weeks (6 weeks tomorrow) with a thorough D &C.
I'll get my results tomorrow.
I really want a positive but I'm scared that I'll lose the baby because it happened before i got my AF. So yes, fingers crossed and prayers flowing!!

Did you find out if you were pregnant
hi sorry to bother you i was just wondering if you were pregnant or was it the hcg lvls from the recent misscarriage i was pregnant with twins but lost 1, 8 weeks ago & the other 4 weeks ago i had a d & c procedure as twins hadnt come away its been just over 4 weeks again since i had it done & i havent had a period but im getting symptoms like i did when i first realised i was pregnant & am scared.

Pregnant after miscarriage, and scared!!!
i just found out im pregnant again. my last miscarriage was in dec. 6 2008. im so scared the same thing will happen again! it was a blighted ovum. believe it or not, i never would have imagined it would happen to me cause my first pegnancy was healthy and full term. im confused! i was very young when i got pregnant and i was partying alot! and this time around when i was trying to concieve, i took care of myself... and well, i miscarried. so you can imagine how scared im am this time around!

hi ihad a miscarriage 6 weeks ago and it was missed miscarriage and needed to have d nd c i still not had my period and like you worried am i pregnant am i at risk not sure if i should do a pregnancy est as been told the pregnancy hormone remains in body for up to 12 weeks after miscarriage so doing the test would give an inaccurate result

Hi all im new
on the 2nd of march i was bleeding but only a little so had a blood test came back ok had to go back to hosiptal on the 3rd of march for scan but every time they always do a pregnantcy test before scan and that showed that i was not pregnant so in there eyes i lost it with mc now end of march im pregnant again they say that im 40 days pregnant if thats true i never had a mc have a blood test again on the 14th hope that ones ok and yes i think you should do a test i did and good luck mate and take care xx

Hi, i did a pregnancy test thet week after my miscarriage and it was negative. I supose it depends how for on you were, i was only 5 weeks. I think your best bet is to go for a blood test and ask for a scan to ease your mind. Hope this helps.
