"Hcg blood test?"

Hey, i was wondering if anyone has had a hcg blood test? I miscarried over 4 weeks ago (i was only 4 weeks gone and my symptons disappeared straight away!)
so me and OH started trying straight away and i again 'feel' pregnant..... cramping, pulling in my lower abdo, swollen boobs, increased cm (tmi) so went to doctor and he done a blood test, i'm not due to see him until next wednesday but have found out my result, which is 6
I have looked on the internet and cant find much out about '6' i know 5 is negative and 10+ in postive and i have found a site that says 5-480 is the right level for 4 weeks pregnant but i'm still wanting to know for definate, i know that the pregnancy hormones can be in you for 6 weeks but i was only 4 weeks gone so assumed they would be gone by now as the preg test i done straight after bleeding was negative?
Sorry to ramble, hope someone can shed some light.
xxx

Basically, if it is 5< then it is negative if it is 10> then you are most likely positive. What I reckon they would do is test again in a week to be sure. I miscarried at 5 weeks and within 7 days my HCG had gone down to the normal range. Your HCG doubles every second day when pregnant - it also goes down double every second day after miscarriage.
