"Can't get over last mc"
Posted by hinem 3 July  at  23:12

Hi
First time user:

I suffered my 5th MC in Jan this year at 13 weeks. No signs that this was going to happen. Just a routine scan that showed no heart beat. The four mc that I suffered in the 18 months prior to this all ended at the 6 week mark. All started with bleeding and cramping, so this one, well, I thought I was getting there. I was on daily aspirin and also daily injections of heperin.

The problem is, I can't get over this. I am sad since and it has been nearly 6 months.
I don't have any children. I am not getting any younger, at 37, i do feel that i am getting old. My husband is 40.

I spend my time at home, shut away in my room. Hate going out, even to see friends and family.

I can't believe I am still so sad

thought about getting some bereavement counselling? A lot of people just expect you to dust yourself off and carry on but we all know it isn't that easy.

You can't shut yourself away in your room forever honey, and I know it's hard but you need to deal with all your emotinons and grief.

give it some thought - it surely can't make you feel any worse?

Take care

I can completely understand why youre so upset, it came out of the blue with no warning and after so many before ending early maybe you allowed yourself to get your hopes up, youd gotten into the 'safe zone' and your body played a trick on you. It must be hard and you have every right to be upset. Theres still plenty of time for you, my aunty concieved my cousin when she was 49, she thought she was going through the change! I hope that you feel better and try again if you want to. Its tough i know i lost one baby to ectopic on m/c and even for me to try again took some convincing. If youre concerned why not see your gp there might be something they can do to make you feel better and brighter and then who knows what will happen. Good luck in everything
