hi girls

just after some advice im finding this m/c diffrent from m first. my first i started bleeedng striaght away passed baby 4 days later and no bleeding a week later. this one started with brown discharge and then blood and passed baby 7 days later, my concern is im still bleeding and passing clots and still in pain.

its not cramp like more stabbing and i get sharp pains going inside me?? ive been taking feminax which is for period pain[naproxen] but not doing much. i have a heart shaped womb and the pain is the side where baby was. i dont have a scan for another two weeks. the bleeding i kinda cope with but the pain is restricting me at times as i feel like i cant6 move i can but feel like it stops me in my tracks...

i have no funny smell or any thing just wondered how long this going to last for??could it be a n infection or just every thing still coming out and settling down??

thanks in advance hope you all doing ok, see we have had some recent m/c hope your all bearing up xxx

"Get yourself to drs/hospital"

Hi Claire
So sorry to hear your news! By reading all your symtoms...I think you should go and see the Doctor or call the midwifes at your local hospital for advice. Don't want to scare you but the bleeding could get more severe. This happened to me, I put up with the bleeding and ended up in hospital ...because I lost too much blood.
Take care.x
"Possible infection"

Hi Clairbear80, have you had any hot flushes high temps shakes or anything like that. After my med mgmt 2 weeks ago I felt really odd and shaky went docs got a full blown infection from decaying blood. (gross)Got some antibiotics and that has stopped the pain, feel betta (physicaly) but nurse said u likely to bleed for another 2 weeks. It could also be that your muscles and bits are moving back into place. Take care. geordie girl5xx
"Soooooo sorry"

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear your news, there is nothing I can say, my heart goes out to you.
I would say that if there is pain involved, get some advice, I think everyone is different, I bled for 3 weeks after my miscarriage and had morphine administered at the hospital just after my miscarriage, the pain was unbearable. It could be everything settling back but they may well give you a course of antibiotics to be on the safe side, I ended up with 2 courses in the end, I didn't opt for a D&C as just wanted to get out of the hospital, it's so hard to know what to do for the best but you know your own body and don't be afraid to ask doctor / nhs direct / midwife etc.
I am thinking of you and sending you the biggest hug, try not to bottle things up, people and especially children, have a level of understanding about such things, I spent alot of time with my sister afterwards and around her children, although you want to protect them from seeing you in pain and hurting, they can give you a sense of comfort without asking for explanation and a reason to smile.
With lots of love
xxx
