Missed miscarriage

I went into A&E on Saturday night as i had red blood when i wiped. They said they thought it was a threatened m/c & booked me in for a scan on Monday.
Saw baby on the screen & new it was not good news, the said that it looked like it had died at about 7 weeks & there i was thinking i was 10 weeks.
I feel so bad that i was walking around & didn't have a clue that this had happened!!
People keeping asking me if i am ok.........no i am not i am in tears as i sit here typing this as i just cant explain how i feel to them. I also feel guilty as i already have a dd & many women out there dont & have been through this many times.
I was booked in for a D&C for friday but baby decided to come out at home naturally, it was so hard seeing it as i couldnt help but think what if.....

Sorry for going on just needed to get it out.

Missed miscarriage

Hi Em
i know it probably doesnt make you feel better , but i know how u feel ..... i had a missed miscarriage last month after havin some bleeding , i thought i was 10 weeks and had a scan and they told me my baby had died at 4-5 weeks , they also said i cud wait for baby to come naturally but didnt know when or where this would happen !!
so i decided to have the operation and managed to have it done the next day at the pembury hospital , that was the hardest and upsetting thing i have ever done , but the nurses were great and my partner was with me and family and friends have been great !!
we have started trying again and hopefully this time all will be ok !!
dont apologise for having a rant about it , you do need to let it out , its unfair and a sad thing to happen to anybody especially when the baby is wanted as much i me and hubby wanted ours , but fingers crossed for all us ladies that want and deserve our baby !!
hope you feel better soon mate
keep us posted

I understand

I had a missed miscarriage very similar to you in June- baby stopped growing at 11 weeks, didn't start to bleed until 13 weeks, by then told everyone etc.
There is nothing that can really be said except that time is genuinely a great healer. People are awful; they either avoid you or say really inappropriate things. Don't hide how you feel- make people know you feel terrible. Crying helps and my hopsital offered a follow up appointment 5 weeks later to talk things over. By then, I felt loads better and when it happened, I never thought I would be ok again.
I am currently 11 weeks pregnant after conceiving just a month after my D&C, and I am in a right state all of the time, but keep trying to tell myself that it will be ok.
Don't feel guilt for any of the feelings you have- I have a 3 year old and got sick of "At least you've got one child". It doesn't make anything any easier.
I hope things look up for you.xxxxxxx
