Memorial garden. how to do it?

Hi Ladies

i just seeking some assistance or even some advice. I would like to create a public memorial in the town i live in for all the familes that have lost a baby whether it be Miscarriage, Stillbirth, Neonatal or SIDS. i Would like the garden to be a place where you can go with my family and celebrate and remember the perfect angel that has gone to a diferent surround. I would like it to be comforting and feel like the place my baby would be now, so i can feel at ease and knowing he is safe.

Any ideas and ways of fundraising would be greatly appreciated.
If any one has done this before please let me know how.

Thank you
Declan's Mummy

RIP My angel

Have you looked on the sands web site

hi there i know that sands offer a memorial day where painted stones which have babies names and dates of burth on them and roses are placed on a certain day every year to remember all of our angels maybe they will be able to give you some advice on how to set one up in your area i really hope this helps and please post a message and let me know how you get on xxxxxxx good luck xxxxxxxx

Not sure but...................

.................... if i were u id seek help from the council and the press, maybe a local paper can cover it, and more people can get involved, obviousl u will need permission from the council to do it anyway but they may help u get started or put you in touch with the right people, i hope it is successful but remember it could take a long time to come off, u could get local schools and churches to do sponsored walks or donation days (like non-school uniform for £1), see your local bars as the landlord/ladies may put on a charity night for u were u supply raffle prizes or domino cards, or sing a karaoke song for £1, you will be surprised how many businesses will donate a small gift for a raffle, i.e florists may give a voucher and tesco's are pretty good too, i hope this has helped a bit, let me know what you decide and how well it goes xxxx
