4th time lucky?? i just want to give up

HI,

Iv had 3 missed misscarriages in the last 18 months,
Last week I did a pregnancy test which said positive again, which my partner and i are thrilled about, I went to doctors who said not keep my hopes up as i will prob loose it again because the linning of my womb is so thin after about 4-5 weeks i loose them Is there anything i can do? I think this will be my last time of trying as it just breaks our hearts everytime.

Im taking lots of tablets to help, but still feel like i just cant hold onto this baby dream anymore.

i have a son who is 5, there was np problems with him at all, now i am desperate for a second baby but in the last 2 years have had 2 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. I too am 5 weeks gone but am too worried to be excited, hope all goes well! xx

i am really sorry for your loss, i know how you feel i have had 3 MC's and when i next get pregnant i will be exacley the same as you but try not to give up hope hunny, how far gone are you? i know it's easy to say relax but do try the more relaxed you are more relaxed baby will be.

hi i have had my second miscarriage in 7months. The first last March, I was ten weeks but development I was told had stopped at 6, was brought back for four weeks by hospital on weekly basis to see if it had taken care of itself and after three weeks, fetus had reabsorbed and still had to have d&C to remove rest of pregnancy including the sac, It was handled very badly by staff and it was horrific overal THen I had second miscarriage couople of weeks ago when i was starting 16th week and started bleeding etc and was told had stopped at over 13 weeks. Absolutely devastated..had to be induced to bring on birth.. lovely little boy..all there.. every part of him in miniature... we buried him ourselves and we insisted on postmortem as the usual is has to be three miscarriages before hospitals will even consider investigation.. but NO WAY was I waiting for a third one.. did you get any answers for your three or third.?? we have the results Thursday week, 26th November. I am dreading incase I am told that that is it and I cant have another baby. I have one 11 year old girl..just turned 11 a week before this baby boy was born. I could never replace my little boy I just had.. my partner is not my daughters father and he is with her since she was 3 and is same as father to her/ we really wanted another child together.. he was sooo wanted. I keep getting overwhelmed with upset , crying etc. then am okay and then the same again. Awful.
