Tell me what you think

in april this year, i took a home pregnancy test and it was possitive, and i did some period math and worked out i was 6 weeks. a few days after that i went on holiday (this was before i could get a doctors appointment), it was a 11 hour flight and i felt really crap and suddenly started bleeding really heavily. my questions to you are

- was it a false possitive or was i actually pregnant?
- if i was pregnant, was it the flight that caused the misscarriage, or was it just bad luck?
- how often do false possitives happen?

Thanks

Hope i can help.

I'm so sorry for your lose.

you don't get a false positive, (the only time you might get a false positive is if you have read the test after the time stated on the directions as it could be an evaporation line), but you can get a false neg.

I couldn't tell you if the flight could have caused it but you can have a positive and then go on to have a miscarriage as it is called a chemical pregnancy for any early pregnancies. if you google it it can tell you more bout wot it is about.

i had one this year in may without the positive test but definitely had a miscarriage.

hope this helps you.
