just had a miscarriage and d & c

Hi all,
I am so heartbroken. We have been trying for baby number two for over a year. I finally fell pregnant mid May. I started spotting at about six weeks. I had an early scan at 9 weeks and saw my baby's heart beating. At 10 weeks (on Saturday), i started bleeding and getting cramps followed by a miscarriage. It was the worst experience of my life. The stuff that came out of me was like in a horror film. I had to have a d&c on Sunday . My emotions are all over the place. Thankfully I have a 2 year old keeping me busy and my husband is supportive. When will this heartbreak end? I keep asking if I did something to cause the miscarriage?

Sorry to hear about your loss
Its just the worse feeling ever isn ... ? But speaking from experience (and 4 miscarriages) things do get easier, take things a day at a time and you'll see yourself coming out the other side....no it was nothing you did and sadly there is nothing you could've done to prevent it as heartbreaking as it is its nature....
Hope you feel better soon, just remember the odds are extremely high in you going on and having another healthy baby
