Pregnancy after misscarriage?

Im currently going through a misscarriage. although i was only 6wks im so heart broken.
After having one succsesfull pregnanacy i really didnt think that this could happen to me.
I really want another baby so want to start trying again as soon as possible as i think that this will help me to move on.
Do you think i should wait or leave it before trying again?
Im just really worried that i will have to go through the same again next time i fall pregnant.

Miscarriage

Hi
I've had 2 miscarriages this year in January and June, at 11 and 13 weeks. The last one was a missed miscarriage which was spotted at my 11 weeks scan however I started bleeding at 13 weeks and was admitted to hospital. Whilst in hospital I was told by a Gynae Dr to have one period before trying again, which is so the Dr's know your dates should you get pregnant again. I was also told by my GP that if you miscarry before 12 weeks then they recommend you have one period and if it's over 12 weeks they recommend you wait 3 months.
I think that after having 1 miscarriage your naturally going to be worried should you fall pregnant again, as I will be, but just remember these things happen for a reason and like the previous person said, everyone's situation is different. Fingers crossed for you. Good luck.

Preg after m/c

Hi emma,
Sorry to hear about your m/c
I'll tell you my story.... in 2001 i had a m/c at 5 weeks and my hubby and i decided that we would try again straight away, i ended up getting preg straight away with no period in between...the docs weren't to happy cos they couldn't give me any dates until i had a scan, the pregnancy was ok and i delivered a healthy boy so yes it is possible, however got preg in may this year which ended in m/c at 5 weeks and suprise suprise got preg again straight away but now i'm miscarrying this one as well so thats 2 miscarriages in 7 weeks and now i'm thinking i shouldve waited.....
Everyone is different, they do advise waiting 3 months so your cycle can go back to normal but my suggestion is do what you think is right......i've gone on to have a healthy baby but have also suffered the heart ache of another m/c....
Take care,
Tee x
