Confused & need advice!!

Hi Everyone.

I'm new to this board so bear with me!!

I started to miscarry around 8 weeks ago, I went into hospital for the medical miscarriage. I had already started bleeding about a week prior to my appointment, the treatment I received unfortunately didnt move anything in my 2 night stay in hospital! I continued to bleed and pass clots up until 3 weeks ago and since then have ceased to bleed. Me and my partner had been trying for a baby for about 1 1/2 years, very daunting now knowing it could take that long again.

I have been reading other posts on the site but still finding HCG levels confusing. I recentely purchased some tester sticks so I could see when I was ovulating again as we are both desperate to start trying again, only problem is I never have 2 lines just the negative. I was told that when 2 lines appear it would mean that my hcg levels were back to normal and at a time when i would be ovulating...is this correct.? I've also read about people who after a miscarriage are taking pregnancy tests to check levels....I'm having problems knowing what the best thing to do is.

Sorry if I don't make any sense at all, but i'm finding it all very confusing.

Hi

Hi Haylee,

I'm sorry I can give you any advise but wanted to say Hi.
I was typing my own post when I seen yours, I'm new too.

I didn't know about HCG levels but will look into it now. I'd tried to go down the "let nature take its course" route but perhaps a little help will get things started.

Good luck,I wish you a baby soon x

Hey

No problem about the advice. Just feel sometimes like i'm driving myself mad looking for reasons for everything. The hospital weren't really very helpful so have kinda been left to my own devices to work things out lol. Booked an appointment with my G.P though so fingers crossed she can guide me in the right direction.

Thanks for your reply
Haylee x
