Miscarriage at 8.5wks...due to flight??

I was 8.5wks pregnant. I went on a work trip to France for 1 week. (doctors say there is no problem with flying during the first trimester) I flew Saturday night and by Tuesday I was getting brown discharge. My colleagues told me not to worry as it is quite common to get this in the first trimester. By Wednesday morning it was dark drown discharge and by Wednesday evening it was bright red blood but still quite light. I flew back home Thursday and at the airport in France I began having clots. I got on the plane (it was only a 1hour flight) and began having a heavy period and slight stomach cramps. By the time I had landed I was having cramps that felt like contractions! My husband picked me up from the airport and took me straight to a+e. here they put me on a drip and took my blood. I kept thinking why dont they just do a scan as quickly as possible I had one really bad cramp then ran to the toilet and what looked like a sac fell out of me into the toilet. It was all too bloody and I darent look closet to see if there was anything inside the sac

Later that day I had an internal scan and I had miscarried.i decided to go through it naturally. 2 weeks later most is out but I still have some residue left inside which I think I will now medically manage. This means they will give me a tablet to insert through the vaginahas anyone had this done? What should I expect?

Also I am keen to try as soon as my next period is over but have a trip to India planned in 2 months time. It will involve taking 8 flights as we are touring. I am now worried about flying during my 1st trimester. I know they say medically there is no proof, but I keep hearing about women who have flown and miscarried straight after.

Has someone been through this before? maybe some people are more prone to miscarrying while pregnant and others arent?

Any advice would be welcome!

Hiya huny

firstly i am so sorry about your m/c am here if you want to talk.
there is nothing wrong with flying no hun, some people avoid it i flew with my first lil angel i was only about 3 weeks when i went and was fine. i then lost it not due to flying or there been anything up with the baby i was 14 n 1/2 weeks so i would say talk to your docter.
I had a d n c with my 2nd m/c but i did not have to have the tablet up because they had to take it out with a clamp n scraper i was 6 n 1/2 weeks and my 3rd m/c i was only about 4 a 5 weeks and was natural.
i would wait for your body to get back to normal before you try again hun
xxx
