Please please help - think i'm pregnant with left over blood from previous miscarriage

I began bleeding 24th September, should have been bout 8-9 weeks, had a scan and sac was measuring 5 weeks, returned a week later for another scan and it hadn't grown - i already knew myself i was miscarrying. Anyway, i'm quite a realist and know these things happen for a reason, decided on medical management, went in for first tablet sunday 4th Oct at lunchtime and miscarried at home that evening. Went for a scan the following thurs (8th), tiny patch of blood left measuring 27 x 16mm - was told would come away on it's own or with next period - hormone levels of over 1000, bled slightly the day after this appointment so thought it might have shrunk but knew it hadn't gone. Returned Friday 23rd, hormone levels at 46, patch shrunk to 20 x 14mm - was told i may need to consider my options again - but then i was told as it was so high up in my uterus medical management would prob not work and they didn't wanna risk surgical. Gave me antibiotics and sent me away and i'm due back on 20th Nov. Now here's the glitch................we have only had sex 3 times and been using condoms, now at 28 you'd think i'd be able to use one successfully wouldnt ya! Well i don't know what happened but one didn't work, that was a week last tues (27/10), anyway, Sunday i started with sore boobs and they've got worse each day and i'm terrified, really didn't wanna get pregnant till i had a period, but i have this overwhelming feeling i am - there's no point in doing a test is there cos it could be old hormones, if i am pregnant will my body absorb the old tissue? Would love to hear from anyone who got pregnant when they still had remaining tissue, is there any chance everything could be ok?

Just wanna add, the MW told me i'd be fine but "not to get pregnant" this was after she told me that until this blood was gone my hcg levels wouldn't drop so my cycle couldn't start - but she reckon's i can still get pregnant?? eh??? lol

Also, i never ever have sore boobies, ecept for when i'm pregnant xx

hi! i had a mc 4 weeks ago now and decided to do it naturally. i went for a scan on the friday just gone and they said there was a tiny bit of blood/tissue left inside and they gave me antibiotics so i wouldnt get an infection. i asked the doctor if i could start trying straight away. he said the blood/tissue left inside would make it slightly harder to get pregnant but if i do get pregnant it would NOT harm the embryo in anyway. so you could be pregnant and no it wont harm the baby. thats what my doctor told me and he doubled checked it with his consultant too.

the mw only advise us not to try immediately as they cant tell how many weeks you're gone if you do fall pregnant again ie: from which period do you measure?? you can't.

for replying! I've scowered the net - which i know ain't always a good thing! and there's very little about left over blood / tissue - i have heard it's quite common tho. What i can't understand is that if you miscarry in hospital and they see what comes out - or have a d&c even - they don't scan you again - it's only cos i was at home when it happened...........and you'd think i'd have passed my whole insides - my point is that i'm sure there are loads of ladies who's bodies retain small amounts but never know.

having a period now. exactly 4 weeks after miscarrying. really heavy but hopefully everything is out. your body will naturally eject it all anyway.

having a scan on friday. fingers crossed everything is ok.
