Found out i was pregnant yesterday... heavy bleeding today!??

Hi All,
I am 21 and only discovered I was pregnant yesterday after taking 3 separate tests all confirming pregnant.
Today my period starts... I'm confused and after reading up on the internet, sounds like a miscarriage.
The bleeding is quite heavy and i have had a few period pains.
Can any one give any advice? This is so weird.

i'm so sorry you have had a mc my thoughts are with you, your little baby is in heaven now with all the other babys. i know it wont feel like it but it will get better in time slowly i promise...i have had 3 mc's and took me over a year to get over my 2nd one.

Hi there

I'm sorry to hear wot you're going through but it could very well be a miscarriage, sometimes when you get pg, very early on if you have a positive hpt and then you go on to have a period it's called a chemical pg as there is something wrong when the egg trys to implant. unfortunately there isn't anything you can do.

Were you overdue for you period and did you have any pg symptoms and are they gone now?

thank you for your advice. Im praying its not a miscarriage but it does sound like it. I had no pregnancy symptoms what so ever, my breasts have got larger, but thats it!
My period was due 15th October I was gonna wait until november until I bought a test but my partner urged me to do it.
My doctor confirmed that I was 7 weeks gone today, its all so scary.
Am I best just speaking to my doctor? Do you know if there are any test to check if its a miscarriage?
Sorry for all the questions but i'm in a bit of a mess right now

... I know a bit wot you're going through hun so now worries.

there isn't a test as such, I would suggest going to your nearest A&E and they should help they can examine you to see if it's a possible mc or not. they tend to check to see if your cervix is closed then take it from there. Don't wait till tomorrow hun esp as you have heavy bleeding and cramps get checked out tonight and then you will know for sure. Make sure your OH takes you.

About an hour after I read your reply Nikki, i was on the loo doubled over in pain. I mc there and then. There was so much blood, im so sorry if it sounds awful but it was so scary. I went to A&E and they confirmed I had mc, I can't believe it not too long after I wrote this uncertain post, i mc. Me and my partner are too upset but i'm sure in time we will be fine.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. my heart goes out to you both. just take each day as it comes. Don't every be sorry i was scared myself and in tears when i mc and that was only wed the 28th oct. so i'm still trying to get my head round it all myself.
