Hi, just writing to say that if you are considering an abortion and are feeling confused and unsure, that it is really important to have a good long chat with your partner or someone close about it and to be honest with them about how you are feeling and any doubts you have. I am saying this as went to have my abortion yesterday and as i was about to take the tablet i broke down and realised that i couldnt go through with it and that deep down i wanted my baby, the minute i told the doctor i decided to keepit, my partner smiled and said he was so glad i had changed my mind as he had had doubts for the past few weeks and didnt want to tell me as he thought i was 100% sure of my decision and he didnt want to upset me. We had both assumed the other wanted the termination and hadnt really had an honest chat about how we felt.We are now both happy and although we know it will be hard we are also excited and relieved that we made the right decision for us. Just wanted to show that it is really important to be honest with how you feel deep down and to try to talk things through with someone close who may surprise you with their reaction or advice.
