before my termination i felt very mixed up! i even bought baby clothes. i was sat on my own one night burst into tears and came to the conclusion that the reason i bought baby clothes was because every one else wanted me to keep this baby, id even mentioned termination as soon as i found out and people tryed to make me feel guilty!the situation i was in wasnt right for a child if i have i child it will be for me and my partner. i think what it comes down to is deep down you know if you have a niggling feeling wheather you should or shouldnt, the hard bits just trying not to let other people cloud your choise.and dont worry i felt like what you felt like too i think its natural xx

all the comments on the forum seem so negitive and you only hear about the bad bits! i was careful and used birth control and wasnt activly trying for a baby so why are people trying to make me feel or force guilt for a choice i made that was right for me? is it just me are are there other people out there who are like me and dont regret what they did? im beginning to think im alone xxx

Hello, i'm torn between whether to have one or not.
I was wondering how you felt before you had it?
I've had friends who have been through it and been absolutely fine, and I supported them. I'm not against abortion, definately not - that's up to the individual(s) to decide.
But when faced with my own I am scared that I will regret it. I know that I will never forgive myself, never forget, never stop wondering what if..
Did you feel like that at all? or are those feelings the type of feelings which mean I shouldn't have one?
xx

Hi i had an abortion 4 years ago and it was definately the right thing for me firstly i was in a domestic violent relationship that was going nowhere the man in question couldnt hold down a job let alone take on the responsibility of having a child ..I cetainly didnt want to be tied to him or his child for the rest of my life he was that evil i just didnt have the strength at the time to get shot of him
One good thing did come out of it and that was i was due to be sterilised just before i became pregnant and i had my mind made up then i fell pregnant with this mans child and i had an abortion it did make me think well hang on do i want to take away my choice to have another child if i want one .
Consequently i found the strength to remove this evil ... man from mine and my sons life where by i got my life back together soent a year or so on my own met a wonderful man who respects me worships the ground i walk on and im sat here 17 weeks pregnant with my second child and i couldnt be happier
If the circumstances are right then abortion is very necessary as was in my case and like you i dont regret a single thing

Hi, you probably read my reply to the last person and thought that was negative. I know a couple of my friend's have had termination's, one only once and the other a few and that was right for them because they was too young and not ready for kid's. I guess it was a weight off your shoulder's and i'm glad you are happy with your decision. All i'm trying to say is that it's what is right for that person. My partner said it was for the best what we done and all i've done is get upset about it but i have to move on and think of the future and so does everyone else who's been through it.The decision you made was right for you but people just want to talk to other people who are upset aswell as they cant talk to anyone else.
