hiya all, ive been with my boyfriend for a year, i love him dearly and i know hes the one. When i found out i was pregnant i was terrified i didnt know what to think, he was over the moon about it and told me everything would be fine. I eventually got used to the idea of becoming a mother and i was really excited. My mam and dad didn't know about it, i thought i would tell them when i had been for my first scan. At 14 weeks pregnant i went for my scan and the nurse had told me there was something wrong with the baby. The arms wernt bending or the legs. She then had told me that i would eather lose the baby further on the pregnancy or if not that then i would have a disabled child. I was absolutely heartbroken and so was my boyfriend and not to be cruel all we wanted was to have a normal healthy baby.
We decided to go ahead with the abortion and now i feel so down and depressed and i cant stop thinking about it. We both really want a child and have decided to keep trying for one but i still cant get the image of our dead little baby out of my mind!!!
I dont know why this had to happen to me..

Just wanted to say what a brave and hard decision you made. I am pretty certain that I would have done the same. I miscarried recently and I keep telling myself that there must have been something wrong with my baby.

I would say that all the feelings that you have are normal. I hope that next time everything goes well for you.

PLease please try not to worry/stress. I would have done exactly the same.

I normally browse the trying to conceive forum as been trying for a baby for 12 months. Just recently been diagnosed with Polycystic ovaries. Feel like poo right now. At least you know you can fall and you will again V soon. Chin up mate. I may not check this forum again so send me a private msge if you want to chat.
