Surgical abortion is the best option then medical abortion.

I found out i was pregnant on the 7th September 09....i was scared because i couldnt tell my family nothing. My bf supported me all the way through. Manage to get an appointment at my GP and she gave me a letter, i had to then call the clinic and booked an appointment...manage to get one on the 11th sept.

When i got to the clinic, the doctor was asking all sorts of questions. I was then asked to take a blood test, check my weight and height and do a scan to see how many weeks i was. The doctor said i was 6weeks pregnant and went through the options of abortion. I read on the net for medical and it was so scary that i wasnt going to take that option. My cousin had a medical abortion and she said it was the worst thing ever, such as vomitting and getting diarrhea at the same time...so i told the doctor i wanted a surgical abortion and he said i got to wait till i was 8 weeks, i said thats fine.

Wednesday 30th Sept 09 was my operation. Luckily during the 8 weeks i didnt vomit so my family didnt find out. Me and my bf got to the hospital at 7am...i was taken to a ward and my bf was asked to stay outside till all the girls has settle down. I was shown my bed and i started to cry coz i felt so scared. I got change and sat on the bed. Then the anesthestic doctor came and explain the opertion to me, saying i would be asleep for half an hour and they will also put suppositories up my backside. The nurse then came in and gave me 4small tablets to put down below. I manage to do it and felt no pain at all...i started to bleed a bit. My bf then came and sat next to me. They then put the needle in palm for my anesthestic and that killed a lot as i got little hands and vain. After an hour i was taken in threatre.

After an hour, i woke up in the recovering room feeling a bit dizzy but no pains or sickness. I was then taken back in the ward and my bf hugged me The nurse gave me tea and biscult and i sat on my bed for a while till my dizziness stopped. I then got ready and took a cab back to my bf place.

One day later i was back at work...im hardly bleeding and with little pain. Please chose this option, medical abortion you got to wait till you bleed, its not pleasant. Goodluck x
