Same situation

Hi,
I'm in similar situation. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I have my consultation appointment on tues for my abortion. I split with the father 2 weeks ago. I have always wanted children but just not alone and I don't know if I could live with myself. I have a great job at the moment which I will need to give up as it's too far to travel and a great life. Still staying with parents I was out 5 nights a week and at ever festival and concert on. There is so much I want to do with life and think having the baby will end it all. Obviously I have support from family but I'd be constantly trying to find baby sitters, to work, to go to the gym or go a jog. Need to give up snow boarding and football. But when I think of all this I feel selfish. It's just a little baby after all that didn't ask to be brought into this world, or killed. I know I would be the most amazing mum and if I end up never having kids I will regret this day for ever.
I don't know what to do and time is running out!!!!!

Sorry

Sorry, I realise that was no help at all. I should have started my own disscussion instead of confusing you more. Hope it all works out for you. x x

You can do it

Hello Sadie,

How are you? Wanted to share with you that a 20 year old single mum in a low paid job actually no real job at the time is exactly what my mum was when she got pregnant with me ... umm, quite a few years ago, in a time and place where a single mum was a much more shameful thing than it is here and now. You and your child can succeed and have a great life. It sucks that they cut benefits but a lot of help is still available (www.dwp.gov.uk). Check out s www.pregnancy.org.uk for all kinds of information and advice, and have a look at fetal development video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoisqOGQIVE just to help you make a fully informed choice.

The only other thing I can say is, dont let the pressure get to you. This is an important decision so take your time, dont panic, and believe in yourself. Keep in touch and take care. Looking forward to hearing how everything goes for you. Peace!
