Why do people start trying to make out im a bad person for booking an abortion, my other thread called 'booked!' people have felt the need to try and get me to change my mind etc. Do you not think im going through enough at the moment and i dont need people like that telling me things!!!!!!

I see you deleted my message to Jesslovesryan. Fair enough, thats your job. The link was not to abortion images, but rather a rap song by Nick Cannon, who is thanking his mum for keeping him when she could have aborted him. There are no gorey or otherwise objectionable images on the video. If you look in my inbox and on messages from other girls in crisis pregnancies you will find that what I write has helped these girls to find a way to keep their babies.

I would like to know what were your criteria for deleting my posting, so that I can avoid this happening in the future. Is it any link? I put quite a few on the princessamy posting for pregnant modeling..

Please accept my apologies for deleting that link. I mistakenly thought it was another link to those sites that you had been putting links to a short time ago (the sites with the graphic images).

To answer your question, we let our readers post links if they're not trying to sell something or if they're not offensive or distressing to others. Please may I suggest that you give an explanation about the content of each link in the future so that people know what to expect and can then make their own decision whether to look or not.

there is some nice vids on youtube about abortion not gory ones but ones where people are thanking their parents for not aborting. i swear i was nearly in tears reading what they have put.

I think you have found it very hard to make this decision and you and your oh have been putting it off for months. I suppose you felt relief whan you finally booked the appointment, and expect other people to be happy that you have come to a decision. Im sorry Jess but I cannot be happy about the choice you are making. If there is any way I could try to persuade you to keep your baby I would.

If you dont want to read what I write, there is a tool here on the forum called Blacklist.
Hit the little profile icon at the end of each message you dont like, and then click on Blacklist when you open the profile. That way no more annoying messages from people like me who want to get you to change your mind.

I definately do not think you are a bad person. About to make a bad choice, yes, but a bad person, NO WAY, not at all, quite the opposite in fact.

You are not a bad person for choosing to have an abortion.
However I echo what has been said,if you post on a public forum you will get views form everyone...whether they are welcome or not.
As long as you are sure it is right for you then it is the right decision.But I just want to say,in your words you said you just want to get it over with and not have it hanging over your head at Christmas.It will be with you for the rest of your life!
I had an abortion 9 years agos last May.Had I had the baby it would have been 9 in Feb 2008.I don't regret my decision in the slightest,it was the right thing for me at the time.But you never forget and you will at times always wonder.
I have been trying to concieve again now with my new partner and we have been pregnant twice and lost both.It sticks in your head.
Again you are not a bad person...but please just make sure you are doing this with your eyes wide open and that it is YOUR decision,not your boyfriends/partner.

mean to wind you up, infact siobhain has helped me alot over the past few weeks, and if i remember you did say any comments were welcome, people are just expressing how they feel. like you are. i cant help but wonder what you mean when you say people like that? if you are that offended and dont agree with a word they are saying just ignore it the fact your getting so wound up shows you feel something. at the end of the day its your choice and what a few people say on a forum shouldnt change that. i know what your going thru is hard i was going thru it last week but at the last minute i couldnt do it. if you need someone chat to thats impartial then mail me any time ive had an abortion nearlt 2 years ago but if you post on a forum expect different views to yours.
