Hi Guys... heres whats going on to me... hopefully someone will be able to offer some advice because im completely lost.

A week before my period was due i got cramps as if my period was starting, then my boobs were extremely sore then just sensitive. and I couldnt make it through the day without a nap.

I started feeling very nausea ever so often. My period was due Thursday March 29 and it didnt arrive. The day after i took a pregnancy test(used first morning urine) and it was negative.

I started to vomit in the mornings starting saturday.
Boobs still sore, and mild cramps ever so often, along with nausea and mild headaches and I started to notice some backpain. My period is now 5 days late.

Could the home pregnancy test be wrong and i can still be pregnant? or is this all in my mind from worrying about being pregnant?

Any answers are greatly appreciated

I have been off of the depo injection for 14 months in hope to one day have a baby with my partner. It took 10 months for me to even have my first period. They have been abit irregular but the last 3 periods have been 20 day cycle.

My last period was 31st July for 4 days(until the 4th Aug) and I was expecting my period to arive on the 22nd August but still nothing. However I had a pinky brown discharge in which I have never had before a week after my period. I had unprocted sex with my partner on the 8t August (hope that doesnt sound sad I know that as it was my boyfriends birthday ). After the discharge I began to have migrains and sickness and feeling really tired. Now a few weeks after I have sore nipples which are bigger, lower abdominal pains, constipation, and keep needing to go to wee, also keep crying for no reason (hormones) I took a test last week on 19th and it was negitive but I was convinced I was pregnant as I feel so different so thought it might be too early.

Anyway I thought id go to the doctors yesterday. He done a pregnancy test and it was again negitive. He told me that it would be very realiable as can trace all Hormones. He would not do a blood test. he then tested my urine and found traces of blood so put me on antibiotics for an infection. After reading about infections in urine it is also common in pregnant women in early pregnancy - called Cystitus. Is this just one big coinsidence??? Although as I told the doctor my wee is not stinging or burning??

I am going so insaine and its really getting me down thinking im going mad! I even am bloating at the belly which is not normal for me. Am I going mad or is it that I am testing too early to tell being 3 weeks afer conception?? How long shall I give it before confirming I have been going mad?

I am having a similar problem here.

I suffer from endometreosis so was on an injection early this year to shut eveything down to see if it helped symptoms. The last one was about 6 months ago.

My periods have since started getting back to normal. however just before my last period was due I had a slight brown discharge and spotting for a few days. I am now over 2 weeks late, feel sick, had a little more bleeding and some negative tests (although the first one looked like it had a faint line on it).

I know that endometreosis can cause problems such as eptopic pregnancies as well as the fact I was on the mini pill.

any advice? shall I wait a few more days and try a test again or go straight to the docs?

Hey this is my first message, What was the outcome to your pregnancy issues?? I feel exactly the same, I cannot stop napping, getting through a working day is so hard. I'm due today and had a negative test this morning.
I feel exactly the same as last time I was pregnant, which was April but I mis-carried. I so hope I am as we have been trying for nearly a year now. How long should I leave it before I test again??

I have slightly irregular periods, but they are normally between 28-33 days. About 2 weeks ago I went and had some acupuncture to help me conceive and have been taking some chinese herbal pills which are supposed to help too. My period is now late, this last cycle has been 41 days... The thing is I haven't had any signs of pmt (or pregnancy) i.e sore breasts and abdominal pain. I normally have really sore breasts and my periods are so excrutiatingly painful. I'm confused as this has been such a sudden change. Could I be pregnant even though the test I took today was negative?

hi there was just wondering what the out come of your missed period was as i am now a week late but tests came bak negative on the 3rd day of my missed period i keep thinking i am coming on but still no signs, i have not been on the pill for some time now but thought we were being carefull but i know this isnt always the case, do u think i could still be pregnant or am i just worrying over nothing????

just wondering if you came on yet my cycle is always 25/26 days i am now on day 35 and no period have done 3 home test and all are negative with my first child test showed positive just one day late so not sure what to do have not been trying for baby...

I am exactly the same as you i did a test yesterday and this morning and they were both negative. I have got sore boobs back ache feeling sick tired. I was using ovulation tests so i know that we had sex at the right time.

my period is also a week late but 2 tests came back negative on wednesday my period was due last sat and it is now saturday but still no period i keep thinking my period will appear in the morning as i have been nauseaus and stomach pains, could i still be pregnant????

I have four children and except for my first pregnancy, I had several negative shop bought pregnancy tests for the other 3 pregnancies. I had four negative tests for my last pregnancy and two or three for the others, that was even using Clearblue tests, which are supposed to be good. I ended up having a blood test and scan at the hospital which confirmed my 4th pregnancy. I would have been at least 10 weeks before any of the hCG showed up. Despite what they say on the packet, shop bought tests are not always accurate and although they claim 99.9% accuracy, a lot of women would dispute this! Other problems like ectopic and pregnancies outside of the womb can also give false negatives, but you will usually experience severe pain if this was happening. It all depends on the hCG levels in your urine and some people just don't show much until later, not always after a first missed period, and especially if you are only early on in your pregnancy.

It is also possible that you are just skipping a period as many things can effect if you come on or not, like recent illness, stress, change in diet or to much exersize, many things can effect your hormones and make you skip a period, even worrying you may be pregnant can stop your period... if you skip more than two or three periods and you still get a negative result, then definately see your GP as soon as possible.

i know how you feel i am going through the samething at the moment. i can not remember when my last period was because they are not regular but i feel pregnant because it feels the same as it felt with my first pregnancy even though i did not find out i was pregnant the first time until i was 6months pregnant. i think i am only about 7 weeks gone but i am getting alot of flinches which i never got until later in my first prenancy.

can anyone give me any advice?

I lost a baby before Christmas at nearly 16 weeks. Since then we have decided to start trying again. My periods haven't gone back to a normal cycle yet - so I havent been sure when I'm ovulating. To cover all bases we had sex from day 11 3 times a week right up til day 24. Last month my cycle was 37 days so around 34 days this month a began thinking I could be pregnant but got a negative result. I went to the doctor who said treat it from now on as a 37 day cycle and only if you get to 40 days consider you might be. Today is 40 days I did to a test yesterday which said negative still. But I have felt for a week now like I'm going to come on and had sore boobs a discharge etc... But in the last day or so I've had a very uncomfortable feeling on my bladder like I need to pee all the time. Not sure whether I'm just kidding myself and wishing and help much appreciated???

Last year, I went through almost the same thing. I was 2 weeks late, and when I took a test, it came back negative. Three days later I got in to the dr and she confirmed I was pregnant. My levels were just low because I was only 3 weeks along. You should definitely go to the dr if you think you are pregant, for the sake of yourself and your baby.

hey i understand wot ur goin through i missed my period and did home pregnancy tests but all came back negative, i was a bit confused i also had sore boobs and period like pains, i went to my doctor who then confirmed i was pregnant i was told that some times pregnancy test cannot pick up the hormone untill up to 19 days after you period was due.. im still not sure how far i am until i see my midwife n yet im only 17 and really scared but excited at the same time
but dont worry best thing do is wait untill about 19 days then go and see your doctor best of luck xx

first time on this so am not too sure how to communicate, however i found this site by accident, i always have a period on day 28 like clock work but am late now and the preg test keeps comming back neg, well maybe am alittle impatient?? i had a positive test the day i missed by period with my first pregnancy. it is driving me insane!!! am glad am not alone

Hi. If I were you, I would test again. Sometimes it takes a while for tests to show up positive. If it is neg again and you are still having symptoms, I would have your doc do a blood test. It is possible that it is mind over matter but I would want to be sure. Good luck

i agree test with something like clear blue. I tested with 1 clearblue and 1 tesco's ultra early one (using the same wee!(sorry)) and the tesco ones said negative and the clear blue said PREGNANT you cant argue with those words!x
