I'm a week late. When my period was due I experienced the normal symptoms of a period with vague cramps but no actual period. I don't tend to get pre-menstrual symptoms. I've also been experiencing some nausea and bloating. But even when I'm feeling stuffed (and this without having eaten that much) I also feel hungry. I'm feeling flu-y and my period still hasn't come.

I know these symptoms can also come about for other reasons like stress and I did come off the pill about 6 months ago, but since coming off the pill I have been fairly regular-ish. It has tended to be at most 31 days and not a great deal of variance in the length of the cycle. We are not trying to conceive but we haven't always been using the condoms correctly.

Is it likely that I am pregnant?

Im in the same situation. I had my last period on the 9th april and i still havent come on. I seem to be having quite a few pregnancy symtoms but have had 3 neg home pregnancy tests! I went to my doctor yesterday who told me to do a sample and take it in this morning, which ive done, and she also sent me for a blood test which I did yesterday. I have to wait for 5 days now until i can get my results. while i was in the doctors she felt my stomach and she said she doesnt think i am pregnant, and because i've missed 2 periods my brain might be making me have the symptoms because im worrying about it. ah well, just have to wait for my results.

I'm still waiting for a period or a positive. My doctor said they wouldn't do a blood test and that they don't do them in the UK, the urine test, she says is very accurate and if it says you're not, you're not. From what I've read that's not quite true, but she wouldn't brook any argument. Anyway I've got to wait another two weeks to see if my period comes and go again for another urine test.
