"2 miscarrages please help"

Hi, I am in a total mess as I have just had my second miscarrage. I had one in January when I was 6 weeks and one yesterday when I was also six weeks again. I am starting to think there is something seriously wrong and it will never happen. Has any1 got any advice on what I can do next??

Thanks

Hi Susie,

I know it is harsh but miscarriages are so common. There is probably nothing wrong whatsoever but natures way of telling you that something is not quite right.

I too had two m/c's, one in September 2007 and then in March this year. You feel like it will never happen but it will - believe me.....

I am now 10 weeks pregnant and so far so good.

Just keep doing the baby dancing - sounds like you conceive fairly quickly so hopefully third time lucky.

Let us know how you get on

Lots of luck
Natalie

They won't investigate until you have had three miscarriages. It sounds harsh but alot of the time even if they investiagate they find nothing wrong.

I have had three miscarriages in the last year, one at 6 weeks, one at 11 weeks although baby had died at 7.5 weeks and had a d&c and the last one at 5.5 weeks.

It is horrible but you have to stay positive and I have been following a homeopathic course which has been helpful and we are also waiting for blood results to come back form the hospital. In the meantime we have been told to keep trying as there is still a chance the next time will be ok.

Take care

Nicki

Hi I am realy sorry about your m/c.I had one miscarriage and my sister in law 2 and as far as I know they will not investigate until you had 3. You can always try to go to your gp and say that you are getting really stressed and you want some tests done but I am not sure if he/she will refer you. No harm trying though..I found that with nhs you need to keep asking to be taken seriously. Good luck

Tania
