Faint pregnancy test result??

Hi there.I am new to the forum boards so first of all Hello all!

I am currently 6 days late which is rather unlike me as my periods have become regular over the last year.I had a pregnancy test (not a very good one admitidly - a cheap one off ebay) so I thought I would do it,I did the test around 6pm tonight - ideally now I realise I shouldve waited for my first urine in the morning, anyway I did the test and I cant decide wether I can see a very faint line or not?? I have begun to think my eyes are playing tricks on me so I thought I would ask your advice please?? I plan on buying a better test and doing it in a couple of days too.

Please let me know what you think .Thanks in advance

What does buyer ID kept private mean?

This means that your identity is not shown at any time on eBay so no one knows who purchased this item except for you, as the buyer, and us, as the seller. Most customers would prefer to keep this transaction totally private so we will NOT leave feedback. Equally we do not expect you to leave us feedback and are happy about this. If you want us to leave you feedback we are happy to do so - just let us know you want us to leave feedback by sending us a message when you have received your goods and are happy with your purchase.

How good are these tests?

We now sell, literally, millions of these tests in the UK and throughout the world - they are made specifically for us and comply with CE (European Community) and FDA (United States) rules and regulations. We also sell them to some of the largest Charity organisations such as BPAS (the British Pregnancy Advisory Service) and to large parts of the NHS. The tests we supply to the NHS are identical to the ones we sell to you and every batch is checked religiously for quality and accuracy - they are more than 99% accurate.

How soon will you ship, how long will it take, is it insured and is the packaging discreet?

Provided your order and payment is received before 3.30pm UK time during business hours it will go out the same day by 1st class Royal Mail (Air Mail if you have an overseas address). All packages have no indication of content, are marked "Private and Confidential" and the contents are not visible or identifiable from the outside of the package. All shipments to all destinations are fully insured and covered in the event of loss or damage - though we will require you to follow some simple steps in order to have a re-fund or re-send in those rare occurrances when your shipment is lost or damaged.

All overseas shipments are via Air Mail and usually arrive in 2-4 days for Europe, 3-7 days for North America and 5-10 days to Australasia. All packages are correctly labelled including completed Customs documentation and our specific FDA Import Licence number for all North American shipments.

Fertilityplan One Step Pregnancy Tests

Whether you are trying to get pregnant or trying to keep from getting pregnant, you want to know immediately if you are pregnant or not. The pregnancy tests that we offer are fast, accurate, reliable and an easy alternative when you require immediate discreet results in the privacy of your own home.

How does a pregnancy test work?

A pregnancy test measures the presence of the hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) in your urine. HCG is produced in the placenta shortly after the embryo attaches to the uterine lining. This hormone then builds up rapidly in your body in the days following successful conception.

When should I do the test?

The test can be taken at any time of the day. However, we do recommend that you test first thing in the morning when your urine is most concentrated. Do not drink large amounts of fluid in an attempt to increase the volume of urine as this may dilute the urine making HCG more difficult to detect.

What does the test result look like?

Pregnant Not Pregnant

How long will it take before I can read the result?

You can read the results in under 5 minutes and a positive result can often be seen in under 30 seconds.

What is the difference between home tests and those done by a doctor?

Many doctors and clinics use our pregnancy tests anyway, in which case they are exactly the same. Occasionally, some women may be given a blood test, but they arent very different from our pregnancy tests either. Both types look for the presence of HCG in your body.

What should I do with my results?

If your pregnancy test results are positive, you should consult your doctor to discuss your pregnancy and what steps and precautions should be taken next. In addition, if your test is negative and you still suspect you may be pregnant, you may want to confirm your test results with another pregnancy test a few days later.

If I see 2 lines but one is fainter than the other is this a positive result?

Yes, if 2 lines appear you are pregnant no matter how faint the lines appear.

Hi

ive done the same sort of test and your result seems to be negative, but to be on the safe side still go to ur gp x

Heya

the line on a pregnancy test would be very clear to avoid confusion

Hi

I haven't ever used one of those tests before so I have no idea which line I am supposed to be looking at sorry!

When i did my first test that was very fanit but they then got darker and darker!

As last post said go to your doctors hun they can do a blood test for you!

A faint line counts

A faint line on a pregnancy counts as being pregnant. Sometimes people have low hormone levels, so the line is fainter, but it still counts.
You should go to your GP and have a blood test done.
And, speaking from experience, these things can become obsessive, so try not to be.
Good luck!
Tal
