Implanon, irregular men-cycle ... suspected pregnancy symptoms..please please advise needed!!

Hello everyone.

I've been reading a few of the messages on here and have noticed that alot of us have the implanon and its is causing us grieve! I'm in a pickle and really need someone to help me figure out what could be going on as I don't know who to tell family wise.
My peroids have always been very irregular and my men-cycle symptoms have always been abit of a fuss.. for example; I have very bad pains in my abdominal area, headaches, bad backaches, nausea, mood swings, etc. I went to implanon to help fix this matter. I've been on it for 3 years now ( being removed in sept '09 ) and for the 1st year or so it went fine and i didnt notice any side effects or anything. But over the past fews weeks Ive noticed things more and more and I am beginning to become suspicious!
My moods are so weird, I will cry at the drop of a hat or snap for the littest things. My belly is quite bloated and I get these "butterfly like" feelings every so often. My backaches are re-occuring but not as severe as pre-implanon, I'll find myself becoming nauseous quite randomly from day to day and I've recently noticed that my breasts have grown slightly and my weight has picked up ( this was a shock as Im naturally skinny! ) Im a broody girl anyway and Im aware of some of the side effects you can get from the implanon but Im so sick of worrying and taking HPT's (which so far have all been neg) I've not taken one in a while .. Now I'm wondering if these "pregnancy like" feelings are being brought on by myself or am I really pregnant??

I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me some insight into what is going on?!

Hi there i was just reading your thread and i am in the same boat as you. everything youve said you are experiencing i am aswellmy implanon in due to come out in september 09.i was just wondering as you posted this january what has being the outcome this far?

If you think there is a chance you are pregnant, you need to go and see your doc explain your situation cause if you are pregnant and got the implanon in you need to take it out asap, there are studies that say it can cause miscarriage.
I had the implanon in twice, 6 years in full, i got it taken out 18 months ago due to wanting to start a family and there has been no luck, i am currently 2 and a half weeks late and went to the doc on wed and got a blood test done. I have been having alot of symtoms of what they call PCOS, polycystic ovary syndrome, and its scaring me at the though of being infertile, but reading alot of these things over the last week i have found alot of women with this syndrome have had successful pregnancies which gives me hope.
