Chemical pregnancy, had anyone had this before???

Hi,
I'ved only just heard about this chemical pregnancy today and it has explained all the stuff i'ved just gone through at the moment, why i was so sure i was pg and i wait until i'm late with af, do a test it turns neg then i get my period and all the symptoms disappear. i'm just waiting for it to clear up now so i can get bk and start ttc again this month.
It also stops me thinking that i'ved been imagining all the symp i'ved been getting and i'm not crazy!

Hello,
it was about four years ago now that I had a chemical pregnancy. The craziest thing was that I went to the hospital and got a blood test the confirmed pregnancy.

I went to work one morning and I went to sit down and had this terrible pain in my lower back and abdomen. I call my mother, a labor and delivery nurse for 30+ years, to ask her what she thought might be happening. She said it sounded like a miscarriage. I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) so my periods are not exactly regular. I had no Idea that I might be pregnant.

Terrified I ran to the doctor to find out what was going on. I had a blood test and it confirmed the pregnancy test I took at home. I went to my OBGYN and they did a sonogram and did not see anything at all. The lining was old and about ot shed and my body was going through an essential miscarriage without the baby.

My husband and I had just gone through two years of trying with a quack of a doctor so we had the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows all in the same day.

So yes, they are real things and not just your mind playing tricks on you, it is more like your body.

thank you for replying. Even though I never had a confirmed pg test i had passed a lot of clots and got back ache, severe cramps (that was just for a day) and one of the clots was nothing at all like the others it looked more like a sac, it was a similar size to a kidney bean too.
Thankfully it has all cleared out now a no other symptoms so I have been back ttc since it has cleared up so hopefully this time i will be pg and it will stay and everything will be fine.
Thank you for replying and very sorry that you have been through this yourself, in one way you had confirmation of it beforehand, it's weird of not having that but only wot happened and how i felt at the time.
